About us
Camerata Filarmónica, Inc. is a non-profit organization committed to developing
musical art in Puerto Rico. We promote the enjoyment and diffusion of music for all sectors of
our community, from children to elderly citizens. We also provide live music for weddings, corporate
events and private parties.
Venues
We perform regularly at universities, museums, schools, elderly centers, hotels, weddings, conventions and private events throughout all of Puerto Rico. We also
travel to our neighbor islands in the Caribbean, as well as to the United States.
Goals
- to give young professional musicians opportunities to perform.
- to encourage the creation and diffusion of new musical works.
- to expose audiences to a wider range of musical styles.
- to reach audiences usually overlooked by musical institutions (penal
institutions, hospitals, rural areas, etc.)
